Common Questions
How often do groups meet?
Each group is unique, but most of our community groups meet every two weeks. Some groups meet year-round, while others take breaks throughout the year.
What happens in a community group?
These communities follow Jesus together by gathering consistently to foster accountability and a sense of family. Some regular practices of a community group include:
- Reading the Bible
- Praying
- Supporting one another in confession, repentance, and belief in the gospel
- Eating together
- Celebrating and lamenting together
- Meeting the practical needs of community participants
- Serving at Orangewood and with ministry partners Near & Far
Do community groups offer childcare?
There are a few options for childcare. Some of our community groups offer childcare at their home, with the families splitting the cost. We encourage those interested to reach out to a group leader to learn more about their group’s childcare options.
What if the group I joined doesn’t seem like a good fit for me?
Not every group is the right fit, and that’s okay. We encourage you to visit a group a few times before deciding, but if it still doesn’t feel like a place where you can grow in your relationship with Jesus, we’d love to help you find a better fit for you and your family. Just reach out below.
Where do community groups meet?
Groups meet mostly in the homes of the group’s leaders. Each group has their contact information and address listed so you can find the best fit.
