Building a
Foundation of Faith
Serving infants – 5th graders every Sunday
Inviting every child into the life-changing story of Jesus.
We want all of the children at Orangewood to know and understand God’s love for them and do this through three, age-specific children’s ministries: OKids Nursery (infants to 3yrs), OKids Jr. (pre-k and Kindergarten), and OKids Worship (1st-5th graders).
Each of these ministries teaches God’s Word in a developmentally appropriate way and helps our children apply it to their own lives and situations.
OKids Nursery
Infants–3 Years
Our nursery provides a safe, nurturing environment where infants and toddlers experience God’s love through caring leaders, Bible stories, songs, and play. A private nursing room, quiet room, and crib are also available for families.
OKids Jr.
Pre-K & Kindergarten
OKids Jr. helps children grow in their understanding of God through engaging Bible stories that reveal His faithfulness and His rescue plan through Jesus. With hands-on activities, games, worship, and play, every lesson is designed to help young hearts learn, participate, and grow in faith.
OKids Worship
1st–5th Grade
Elementary students begin in worship with their families before joining OKids Worship for Bible teaching, small groups, worship, and prayer. Fifth graders also serve as “Backstage” leaders, helping younger students while growing in their own faith and leadership.
Common Questions
What should I wear?
Come as you are! Some people dress up for church, while others come in more casual clothes. You’ll see a mix of styles, so wear whatever makes you comfortable.
What is a service like?
Our services include worship through music, prayer, giving, and a message from the Bible. The service typically lasts about an hour and 20 minutes.
Is there something for kids?
Yes! We offer safe and engaging programming for children during the service. Our Children’s Ministry provides age-appropriate teaching and activities while parents attend worship.
What if I’ve never been to church before?
You are absolutely welcome here. Any Sunday is a great time to visit, whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church after some time away, or simply curious. No prior church experience is expected.
Where do I go when I arrive?
Our main entrance is under the brick bell tower: going through the doors, you can look for our Welcome Table when you arrive. Our team would love to say hello, answer questions, and help you find where to go for worship or children’s programming.
Where should I park?
Our parking lot is open for all: we have handicapped parking near the front entrance, as well as visitor parking parallel to the building. Feel free to park anywhere!
