Our hearts, minds, and relationships all bear the weight of living in a broken world. Whether you’re carrying past wounds, navigating difficult relationships, overwhelming emotions, or simply feeling stuck, it’s easy to become weary trying to carry it all on your own.
At Orangewood, we believe Jesus is Emmanuel—”God with us.” He is present in every joy and every struggle, inviting us to find our hope and strength in Him.
Counseling is one way God brings healing and restoration. It provides a safe, compassionate space to process your story, experience God’s grace, and grow toward greater emotional, spiritual, and relational health.
The counselors below are trusted members of our congregation who each maintain their own private practice. We hope this resource helps you take the next step toward healing with confidence and hope.

Common Questions
What is Counseling
As stated above, we believe God desires for you to experience wholeness and restoration. A tool to seek this is through counseling. Counseling is a safe and loving space where God’s love meets you right where you are. You are invited to explore your heart and mind, discover God’s unfailing grace, and take steps toward becoming a healthy, whole person—emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.
Please keep in mind, counseling is more effective when it is used as a preventative measure versus reactionary. Consider reaching out before you’re in crisis.
What can counseling help with?
- Anxiety
- Addictions (Substance & Sexual)
- ADHD/ASD
- Chronic Illness
- Depression
- Divorce
- Grief
- Marital or relationship distress
- Ministry Burnout or stickiness
- Multicultural Issues
- Parenting
- Pre-marital
- Religion/spirituality
- Trauma
How much does therapy cost?
Depending on the experience and licensure of the counselor counseling on average can range from $90-$160/hr.
How do I know if I need counseling?
- You are the expert when it comes to knowing how you are doing and what is “normal”. If you find yourself in an abnormal situation behaviorally or emotionally, seeking a counselor may be a helpful option to address this.
- Something you can ask yourself: Is this issue causing significant distress or inhibiting life? AKA Is this issue preventing me from doing life (getting out of bed, going to work, socializing, etc). If so, this is your body telling you something needs tending to.
