Inviting every student into the life-changing story of Jesus.
Orangewood Student Ministry seeks to support the larger mission of Orangewood Church by cultivating Christian community through Gospel-centered teaching and intentional discipleship. We do this in a variety of practical ways —The Space (Youth Group) on Sunday evenings, events such as Costume Karaoke, Green Bean Recon, Summer Camps, Winter Retreats, Worship Night, and student discipleship.

Common Questions
What should I wear?
We want you to be comfortable! Most students wear t-shirts and pants or shorts. We play a lot of fun games and some of them require you to be active.
What happens during youth group?
At youth group, you will play unique games, hear weekly announcements, gather for a time of worship and teaching, then split off into age groups for small groups (separated by age and gender).
What if I don’t know anyone at youth group?
That’s perfectly fine! You’ll leave your first youth group with new friends. Our awesome team of staff and volunteers will be happy to make sure you feel at home and connected.
Is dinner provided?
Middle School: No. There are light snacks and drinks provided.
High School: Yes! As a part of our high school ministry, dinner is provided by various adult community groups from the church. We’ve had pizza, tacos, pasta, breakfast for dinner, chili, and more!
How Can I Serve as a Student in the Church?
Take down chairs after church, serve the children of Orangewood by helping in the nursery or OKids worship, bring your aluminum cans to the space for the Generations Initiative
Join the welcome team to help greet people on Sunday mornings (or the parking team!)
Come talk with Davis or Caroline! We’d love to help you get connected with opportunities.
