“God won’t give you more than you can handle.”
“Just believe in yourself.”

These familiar sayings sound encouraging, and sometimes even Christian, but what happens when we build our lives around them? In Jesus Never Said That, we’ll explore four popular messages alongside the truth of Scripture, examining what they teach us about ourselves, God, and the good life. Over four weeks, we’ll discover Jesus’ invitation to follow him, receive his grace, depend on his strength, and trust his wisdom. With so many voices telling us to look within for everything we need, Jesus invites us to look to him.
